Professor Baco's previous work has focused on the analysis of production systems, seed systems, the socio-economic evaluation of soil fertility management technologies, and the socialization of certain agricultural crops such as yams. , potato, and maize and all this in the context of climate change.
In recent years, his work has been in the socio-anthropological field and the multidisciplinary confrontations of environmental issues, climate change according to privileged entries: rural areas; natural resources (land, water, agrobiodiversity, natural park); climate change. He is interested in environmental policies and society-nature interactions, rural development, local populations, endogenous knowledge, seed systems and business models of agricultural products.
