Frank Rutehenda

Frank RUTEHENDA is an economist specializing in Environmental economics. Currently, Frank is working with Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA) as Adaptation Planning Process Sector Specialist altering from Monitoring & Environment Specialist at REMA.
He spent 6 years in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN)-Rwanda as Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, 2016-February, 2022).
Frank holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Economics and Natural Resource Management from the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali (UNILAK) and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Economics from the University of Rwanda (Former National University of Rwanda). Frank has built on his academic foundations with a concrete national and international understanding of monitoring, and evaluation, reporting for results in the environment and natural resources, and Water & Sanitation sectors. He holds different certificates including; Nature based Solutions to Global Challenges Foundational Course sponsored by the University of Oxford in partnership with the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, Certificate of completion in Ecosystem Restoration, Certificate of Inclusive growth by IMF, Certificate in Wetland Conservation and Management for BRI Countries (Online)” sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, P.R. China and organized by China National Bamboo Research Center and Department of Wetlands Management, National Forestry and Grassland Administration, P. R.
