John-Michael Kramer

Mr. Kramer is a senior international environment and development expert working primarily for USAID and its implementing partners. His technical expertise emphasizes natural resources management, livelihoods/value chain development, national policy formulation and institution building, and climate change adaptation. His functional expertise includes leading major project and program evaluations, environmental compliance (Reg 216), performance monitoring planning, program design and technical proposal preparation, and institutional capacity building reporting.
He has had multiple assignments as COP and led dozens of international teams conducting a full range of technical assignments. He has over 40 years of experience in design, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of large and complex, short- and long-term environment programs some 45 countries primarily in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
