Summary

In our globalised world, the impacts of climate change in one place can create risks in another. As the EU strategy on adaptation makes clear, these impacts “have knock-on effects across borders and continents… even local climate impacts have regional or global repercussions”. This event will explore the implications of cross-border risks for adaptation planning at national, regional and global scales, calling for cross-country engagement and exchanges on adaptation to international climate risks.

This hybrid event will take place on Wednesday 9 November, 11:00-12:00 local time (GMT+2) at the EU Pavilion. You can participate on site at COP27 or participate online.

You can register for the event to participate in-person or online on the EU side events at COP27 page (log in top right).
