Adaptation Without Borders: Responding to a global challenge

Summary

We live in an interconnected world. The effects of climate change cross borders. So too do the impacts of our adaptation responses. The Adaptation Without Borders initiative responds to this challenge and creates opportunities to strengthen international cooperation on adaptation, paving the way towards lasting global resilience.

This lightning talk, by Rebecca Nadin, Head of Risk and Resilience at ODI, presents the Adaptation Without Borders Initiative to inspire action to ‘leave no one behind’. The talk shares stories and journeys of climate risks that cross national borders and presents this groundbreaking initiative to inspire action and pave the way to a resilient world where all people are secure and can prosper.
