Design Researcher
As a Design Researcher I (co-)design interactive digital products and services using interviews, observations, analyses (mapping), wireframes, information architecture, and visual models to validate design decisions. My expertise lies in applying design approaches, such as Co-creation, System Thinking, Design Thinking, Biomimicry and Prospective design, to tackle complex challenges. The ultimate goal is to create meaningful, inclusive, long-lasting design solutions within the context of different objectives from people, nature, technology, science, and organizations.
In my research I explore methods for 'more than human centred design', and transdisciplinary collaboration with nature. To do this, I work with people from different disciplines using experimental, open-ended challenges. On my blog you can find examples of my work and ideas related to art, design, and research: http://filterdesign.wordpress.com.
My current research topics:
• Framework 'Collective Collaboration Mapping' for the co-creation of inclusive and transdisciplinary collaboration
• Biomimicry for HCI
• Visual Co-Analysis Models
• Mental Models in Citizen Science for Energy Transition
